Irregular Glide Path
Certain canals exhibit anatomical challenges that necessitate a reciprocating handle motion in order to move precurved 10 and 15 hand files to length. When there is an "irregular glide path" then the apical one-third of a canal may be advantageously finished with precurved manual instruments.
