In this show, the rationale for endodontic treatment will be discussed. In the most simplistic definition, the rationale for treatment is the retention of critically essential teeth. This show will emphasis how diagnosis, access, glide path management, shaping canals, 3D disinfection and filling root canal systems are the six steps that comprise start to finish endodontics. These are the steps that will serve to influence predictively successful results. In this segment we will look at pulpal breakdown, disease flow and the formation of lesions of endodontic origin. At the conclusion of this show, you will have a greater understanding and appreciation for the role that clinical endodontics plays when you treatment plan your patient's journey towards oral health.
