NaOCl & Chelator

Three intracanal irrigants are commonly employed in clinical endodontics. A 6 percent solution of sodium hypochlorite; viscous chelators, such as Glyde, RC Prep, or ProLube; and an aqueous chelator, such as 17 percent solution of EDTA. This Just-In-Time segment will review these irrigants and their potential during endodontic disinfection procedures.
